How to Cast to Roku? Except for Netflix and Youtube, no other apps supports the feature of casting. First, check if the streaming channel you want to cast is listed on the Roku device.
Use the same app on your mobile device, and look for casting icon shaped (a small rectangle with three curved lines at the bottom left corner). Click the casting icon and select the Roku device from the casting destination list. If you don’t find Roku, check whether your mobile and Roku device are connected to the same network.
How to Cast Roku from PC or Android Devices?
- First, enable the Roku Screen Mirroring Option.
- Go to your Roku’s Configuration Screen.
- Go to Settings, select System, and click Screen Mirroring.
- Enable the display mirroring option because it should be checked.
- It will show two options Always Allow and Never Allow. Select the option Always Allow.
- Now Add the Roku to your device.
- On the Windows computer to press the Windows key and C, you can now swipe from the right.
- Select the Device option and click Project.
- Choose the Add a Wireless display option, and now you can add the device to Roku.
- For Android gadget operating version 4.2.2 and later:
- Go to Settings>Display> Cast Screen.
- Look for Enable Cellular Display option.
- Roku will now be displayed in the Cast Screen Section. Click on it to cast.
